Apsara Public School offers rich and diverse opportunities for students to engage in beyond their timetabled lessons. We believe students develop their skills, confidence and creativity through involvement in activities such as arts and drama, music and sport. In addition, our numerous events, science & tech exhibitions, interactions etc broadens horizons for students. Students are encouraged to use opportunities to develop their skills and interests outside of the classroom.
Our teachers deliver lessons designed to develop creativity using a variety of media and techniques in art and craftwork. An awareness of colour, shape, balance, focus and proportion are developed alongside the use of symbols to convey ideas and feelings. Students study a wide range of artists, craft people, designers and get the opportunities to attend many workshops in the field.
Music, drama, dance and stage programmes have a prime place within the curriculum of APS. Classes are handled by highly trained and qualified teaching staff. For pupil with a greater interest in music, there are further opportunities to participate in orchestras, choirs, and other music and drama groups and to perform at the school and within the community. Our live Performing Arts Labs - Music, Dance, Art, Craft – will enrich students with opportunities to develop their skills and interests beyond classroom
